The Phantom is the LTRA's digital newsletter which is produced quarterly with editions in Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer and emailed to all LTRA members. It includes comment from the LTRA Chair, Libby Fletcher, and covers news and events at Tarawera about the Community Hall, Fire Unit, Landcare, Pest Control, Tarawera Sailing, LTRA-sponsored events as well as regular contributions from Lakes Council, Regional Council, Department of Conservation, the Lakes Community Board etc.

Locals are welcome to advertise and rates are: quarter page $55; half page $90 and full page $150. Classifieds are $1.50 per word.
